"The Marvel of the Occident"

The location and the bay that surrounds it are famous around the world.

The origins of the abbey dates back to the eighth century, when the Archangel Saint Michael ordered, in a dream, to the bishop of Avranches to build a chapel in his name on this island.

In addition to a simple visit to the village and the abbey, we invite you to explore the various legends and stories of the place.

We take the small streets and picturesque ramparts of the way to win the abbey and its maze of buildings.

Here more than elsewhere, it is preferable to follow the guide!
